How is data gathered:

  • C-Level interviews
  • Departmental focus groups
  • Company-wide surveys
  • Reviewing documentation
    • SOPs
    • Employee Handbooks
    • Org Charts
    • Sales & Marketing materials

What do we do with the collected data:

  • Analyze the data
  • Create a report to share the data – highlighting strengths and weaknesses
  • Create a roadmap for moving forward
    • Recommended actions to keep strengths strong
    • Recommended actions to improve weaknesses
    • Recommended timeline
    • Proposal for TYA to help with implementation
Even if you do not move forward with TYA for implementation, you get to keep all of the data, the report, and the recommendations.

Communication Plans:

  1. To the team before data gathering, requesting participation.
  2. To the team after data gathering, thanking them for their participation, input, and patience.
  3. To the team to share the results of the assessment and what you’re doing with the information.

Why Do An Organizational Assessment?

It is a deep-dive analysis that shows you exactly where you are right now as an organization. An assessment particularly looks at the following areas:
Overall Culture
Vision/Mission
Operational Systems
Organizational Structure and Talent Engagement
Client Experience
Sales and Marketing
Communication
It can be used as a benchmark. It is recommended that a full organizational assessment be completed annually so that the organization can measure their progress from year-to-year.
The deep-dive analysis creates buy-in on future goals throughout the organization by
requesting multiple levels of input from all employees. This is done through:
Company-wide surveys
Department level focus groups
Leadership one-on-one interviews
Individual interviews as appropriate

What do you get when you do an Organizational Assessment?

  1. The result of each assessment is a full-report of the analyzed data. We use the combination of surveys, focus groups, and interviews to determine where the company is in a particular assessment area, strengths and weaknesses, and areas of needed improvement.
  2. Annual assessments add in an additional layer through comparing the previous year’s results to the current year.
  3. In addition to the analysis, the org assessment also provides a roadmap for moving forward, along with suggested timelines for doing so.

How can you use the Organizational Assessment to positively impact your company moving forward?

  1. Provides data from which you can measure progress.
  2. Provides a roadmap – a how to move forward to make improvements and to keep the areas of strength strong.
  3. Along with the roadmap, TYA also has experts available to help your organization work through the roadmap, along the suggest timeline.
  4. If you do not want to use TYA advisors to help with implementation, you can use the roadmap to self-implement or work in-house. The analysis data, the report, and roadmap are yours.
  5. TYA provides a clear communication plan to ensure that you are creating an atmosphere of positivity throughout your organization.
  6. An organizational assessment allows the entire company to feel as though they are part of making the company better. Giving employees an opportunity to be heard and to know that their voices have an impact on decisions moving forward is a great way to create loyal and fulfilled employees.
